The harvest is done in a sustainable way and it is estimated there are now over 7 million seals in this area. The oil comes from the blubber (fat tissue) of harp seals and contains "healthy fats" known as omega-3 fatty acids including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), and docosapentaenoic acid (DPA).

What does Research Show?
